I’ve had a passion for all things “colorful” for as long as I can remember. I have one memory in particular of being in 1st or 2nd grade and having to make an art project for the school art fair. There was a “popsicle stick” category I wanted to enter, so my aunt Doey bought me some popsicle sticks and glue and we got to work. I  remember thinking one thing that would push me to the top of the list was something no one else’s project would have…COLOR!

My aunt and I ended up constructing a Ferris Wheel that actually spun around. Each seat was made out of  different color card stock and dangled by a thread so it moved with the Ferris Wheel. We named it “Wheel of Colors”.

I came in second place that year, but I don’t think that was half bad considering I was probably around 8 at the time and my school went up to 8th grade.

When I look back on the things I’ve colored or painted over the years, one thing remains true. I LOVE color! Always have, always will!

I think these growth charts are a great example of how my love of color and making signs help me best represent the person they’re for.  In this case, you get an idea of the personality of each child without even having met them.

Those of you who are new to my blog I hope you understand that yes, I love making signs; but what I feel even more passionate about is representing YOU. If that means you’re a “black and white” kind of person, or you’re like me and your life is like a bowl full of skittles, I gotcha covered!

If you’re looking for a customized sign, and by customized I mean, color/style/saying/your-shine, email me on my contact page for prices or to place an order. Remember, Christmas is around the corner, the sky’s the limit, and life is art so color it happy!

And to Doey, who taught me all about using the whole box of crayons…thank you for bringing art into my life. I’ll forever hold a special place in my heart for the love of art we shared together.
