Don’t you hate when you weren’t going to do something, then someone gives you a little nudge and it won’t leave your mind? Yes well, that’s what inspired this blog post. Continue reading “What Rules?”
This past week I had the privilege to tag along to Florida with my husband while he went for business. I almost stayed home because I was behind on projects that I wanted to get done but decided to put them aside and go anyway. BEST DECISION EVER! Continue reading “Living a "Vivid" life”

Man, this year is already all hearts and roses…and well, cold, flu and hand sanitizer, but you can’t have the good times without a few pitfalls! Remember, it’s how we pick ourselves up and outta that bed that matters 🙂 Continue reading “Happy Valentine’s Day!”
At the beginning of this year, Vickie and I sat down with our planners and got to work on ways we could build our businesses, things we could do different this year and basically saw what worked and what didn’t. I guess that’s the good thing of beginning stages of business building is that there’s all sorts of room to grow however, there are also pot holes we don’t know how to avoid. Vickie and I basically just hold hands and jump in together. This year we’re trying to avoid those pot holes, but at least we know it’s a team effort and there’s someone there to pull us out if we find ourselves stuck in one. Just in case you thought I was hibernating for the winter…think again! This brain doesn’t stop and I’m still cranking out signs left and right, just working on the logistics of it all. Continue reading “2018 – I see hearts in your future”
Well for me it was also the season of learning and growing. My December is usually jam packed anyway with my daughter’s birthday, my anniversary, my mom’s birthday, then Christmas (all in that order). So yeah, it’s pretty packed. Then let’s throw in Christmas parties, company events, church gatherings, Christmas shopping…you know the rest. It’s the most wonderful time of the year, the most expensive and the most sleep deprived, but it’s such an awesome whirlwind and I’m truly grateful by the end of the year.
If you are local and in the area this weekend, please come out and visit me, my sister-in-law and brother-in-law as we set up shop deep in the heart of Deep Ellum!! Continue reading “Pop Up on Main St.”
I’ve mentioned that I’m an avid Hallmark movie junkie and it’s become family tradition to watch them every December. What I didn’t realize when I wrote my last blog post was that I’d experience one first hand.
After all of the hustle and bustle of preparing Thanksgiving dinner, cleaning for company, and medicating for the relatives to arrive… Oh, and lets not forget BLACK FRIDAY SHOPPING, you look up and BAM, it’s all over! Your house is a mess and there are leftovers for days but it’s then that I realize…wait a minute…IT’S THE MOST WONDERFUL TIME OF THE YEAR!!!
This month we celebrate Thanksgiving, what it means to us and our families and we also take time to reflect on what we are thankful for. Continue reading “Thankful, Grateful, & Blessed”
